   If you are dining with someone with hearing loss, I would ask them to seat you accordingly. The noise level can be detrimental to conversation at the table. When the restaurant is full, it can be very difficult to hold a conversation.

   We had a reservation for 7 and we were put into a booth. Not a lot of elbow room for when you are trying to cut a steak. The food was great though.

   The service is great and attentive. The menu offers diverse options, with beef and Steelhead salmon providing excellent main fair options that keep patrons coming back. Reservations are a welcome addition, and parking in downtown Issaquah remains challenging. The ambiance is nice, although a bit dated.

   Good food, good service. Less expensive that other good steak houses. I love the option of a 6oz filet as opposed to 8oz or more. It is a little loud but conversation is still possible. I like the low lighting toward the back of the restaurant as it feels warm and cozy. The front of the restaurant is lighter and quieter. This is one of my favorite restaurants.

   We had a belated Christmas dinner with family. Food was outstanding, service amazing and we enjoyed the evening. Being able to make a reservation was so great! Thank you Jak’s! It was awesome.

   It has been a while since I’ve been to Jak’s. A friend and I had lunch to celebrate her birthday. The food and service was as good, if not better than I remember. Everything was perfect! I’ll definitely be back again very soon!

    My filet was cooked perfectly. The halibut starter plus a vegetable was a great lighter meal for my wife. Service was impeccable! Our server went above and beyond, making sure there wasn't butter on any of my food. Food was served timely but never rushed. Great by the glass wine selection.
