   The food was delicious, and our server had great suggestions for what to order. My only real issue is that their menu is quite confusing, and it took our party some time to figure out how to interpret it.

   Had a great experience at Javan. Missed it when it was closed for a period of time. The current management is very friendly and attentive. The food was perfect. Would definitely be back at every opportunity. This was great for a family gathering and celebration of a special event.

   great food. 1st time since 30 years ago. then they had a great muhamara, but no longer. kabobs were moist, soft and deliciously marinated.

   Really enjoyed the food. It was a bit noisy and the wait staff was very kind but seemed to disappear at times and we needed to ask for to go boxes, the check, etc

   I went here with my girlfriend on a date. What makes review for Javan difficult was the hit and miss nature of both food and service. Kabob, vegetable, and tomato stews were very good. But the yogurt dip and cheese appetizers were not. The cheese was rather tasteless and yogurt tasted stale. The service was the low point. One of our appetizers was never delivered to the table (they took it off the bill), no one really checked on us during our dinner to make sure things were ok (they were not), and staple items such as bread was missing until we got wait staff's attention and specifically ask about 10 min after the appetizers were delivered. The restaurant was not busy at all with only 5-6 tables with clients. I think this might be a good place for regulars (the person who was sitting behind us was getting exceptional service) but not for those on the exploration path.

   Food was uninspired. Vegetarian options virtually nonexistent. With so many better Persian options on the west side, it's unclear why anyone would choose Javan
