   The manager, specifically, was rude and condescending. The waitress was very nice. The food was average and very disappointing. I used to LOVE eating at Jimmy’s. We drive about an hour to get there, so we don’t come often. But some dishes stand out in my memories. I asked the server for one of my old faves. She said they don’t serve it anymore (Seafood popcorn, which was fried shrimp, oysters and clams). But they serve fried shrimp and fried oysters! So why can’t they make an appetizer portion? No effort was made to accommodate. I asked the server about a couple of dishes on the seasonal menu, and she discouraged those choices. So I settled on the combo, but asked that it be fried. You’d think I asked them to grill it on a barbecue! They clearly sell fried seafood, but for some reason, my request was a major issue! Then the ‘manager’ came over and insulted me. As I explained to her what I was hoping to order, and why I was confused about their unwillingness to accommodate, she said “I came over here to explain this to you. I didn’t come over here to be laughed at.” I’m proud of myself for how I ignored her, but I believe a training opportunity exists for her. I guess she’s accustomed to customers becoming irate and rude, like she was. But because I giggled about MY confusion, she took that personal and insulted me. The older gentleman who used to manage that restaurant would have NEVER said to me what she said. And she didn’t stop there, either. She kept repeating her unwillingness to fry my platter, stating that “we just don’t do that.” But they sell plenty of fried seafood! Make it make sense!! When my fried seafood arrived, they had subbed out my fish. I guess they thought I wouldn’t notice. The oysters weren’t fresh either. We picked the wrong restaurant yesterday. And we will NOT return. EVER.

   Service from Megan (the OG) was amazing!! From the moment she gave us menus to the moment we pad our tab her energy and hogh level of service will definitely be a reason we come back!! The food was just as she said large portions and delicious. Usually there is something that just wasn't that good or could of been better, but both my spouse and I meals were perfect! So we're the appetizers! The crab eggs rolls and shrimp and crab dip were so tasty! Steak and lobster amazing everything was so good!! I definitely recommend this place! Some may say the food is pricey, but I honestly think it was worth every single penny!! Will be back soon!! Thanks for all wonderful experience celebrating my spouse birthday 🎂

   We were a party of 2. The hostess did not have our reservation however I had a confirmation email. I was quoted an incorrect price for the blue crabs. No adjustments were made to our bill. The waiter was apologetic, very nice & efficient & attentive. Blue crabs were amazing as expected, but corn & potatoes were lukewarm warm and not well seasoned. This was my 3rd visit to the restaurant and twice I had issues either my bill. I cannot complain about food quality & freshness . I’ll be back. P. S. Management should be more accommodating to the customers

   The crab egg rolls and crab mac were full of shells. Way too expensive for that

   This was a Christmas Day reservation. The food was very good and the service was great! We will be going back to enjoy another lunch or dinner.

   It was a very nice ambience, everyone super friendly and it was a chance to start new memories and traditions for Christmas Eve. Making a reservation, I highly recommend.
