   Shrimp risotto (a special) was to die for as was the coq au vin. Service was excellent. A wonderful French bistro in the Highlands.

   Our dinner was fantastic. The new Cesar salad,made with squash,was light and crisp. I was worried I might not like it as well as romaine but it was better. My salmon was so big I took half home. The portions on both the salmon dish and steak and frites were very generous and both very tasty. The three cannoli were so delicious. The pistachio one was one of the best cannolis I’ve had. Service as always was great friendly and informative. It was a wonderful meal.

   Not as busy as we expected for a Thursday evening. Enjoyed a maple old fashioned and the missus had a very citrusy wine cooler. Split the crab cakes for an appetizer. I had the special blue fin tuna - nice sauce, but the tuna was a bit more grilled than I prefer. My wife had the ravioli on special, which she liked. We split some cannoli for dessert. All in all, a nice romantic evening at a restaurant we hadn't been to previously.

   Porsche sizes were too small. Prices were too high. Too high relative to the small portions. Additionally, the food was surprisingly bad. I've been a loyal customer in the past and have had great meals at this restaurant but something has changed. The muscles appetizer was tiny with only 13 muscles. Most restaurants serve 30 or 40. Entrees were very small. Tuna entree probably had 4 oz of tuna. Red snapper probably had 5 oz. Cocktails were good. But I will never again pay $6 for coffee and $6 for tea. A teabag and hot water equaled $6. Cost of a tea bag? I don't know, 25 cents? Restaurants, especially those struggling, are just gouging people. Taking advantage. If you asked me if I want a cup of coffee or tea, I don't ever believe it's going to cost me $6. I don't care if the coffee comes with more in a carafe. The tea just came with hot water.

   Manager denied he had a seat in the quieter section at the back, then seated a couple who had arrived ten minutes after we had in the back seats, which were open when we were seated in the front. Hospitality 101, Dude. Won’t be back.

   Amazing food! From the appetizers to the dessert our meal was amazing. Our waitress, Pauline, was genuinely the sweetest person we’ve ever met. Will definitely be coming back here for another date night.
