We tried the dine out Boston menu (Restaurant Week), everything was delicious and good value for what they actually put on the menu. Overall experience was very pleasant.

We didn’t realize it was restaurant week - so that was a pleasant surprise. We ordered off the prefix menu. All of our choices were excellent and authentic ! It was my husband’s birthday so on his dessert they had a fun happy birthday ornament. We had not been in quite a while but we can’t wait to come back!

Excellent food, wine, and especially service; all who served our table were attentive and friendly without being intrusive. We (three of us) were there on a Sunday evening in March, so the restaurant was not crowded, thus quiet. I would think the noise level would be higher on busier nights, but it would feel festive. This was my third time at La Voile, a restaurant I choose over many others when I have the chance to eat out on Newbury Street.

Entrees were excellent. We shared a risotto that we didn’t care for and the wait staff and manager proactively came by to ask about it. A situation where we would’ve probably paid for it but the waiter noticed we didn’t eat a lot of it and advised he take it off. Very nice service. They very much cared about our experience. I had the her encrusted lamb and she had the ribeye, both tres magnifique. C’est bon!
