An American grill with a delightful Southern twist. Serving as the flagship restaurant of Lafayette Village Shopping Center in North Raleigh since 2010, we have recently undergone renovations and re-opened in May 2023.

    We discovered when we got to the restaurant that they were closing tonight for good. Kind of disappointing. Nice restaurant but this review is a moot point.

    The food was only ok. The ambiance was loud even though not very crowded. The drinks were not great and over-priced. However the server was the perfect combination of friendly and efficient. Overall it’s been awhile since I’ve been here and not at all as good as I recalled.

    We had a lovely meal with excellent customer service. The food was as described and delicious. There was a holiday luncheon towards the back of the restaurant but we would have never known it. This was our first time and we will definitely be returning.

    The delivery of food was oddly paced. Side items (to accompany entrees) were delivered first ?? Extra charge for condiments (ranch dressing) and pickles ?? Food was just OK. This was our first time and will be our last. (Restaurant is closing the end of the month — probably a good thing.)

    Our servicer was excellent...the food is sub-par. We were there with 5 people. Pork chops were good. Ribs were tough, and all of our sides were cold. Nice atmosphere...but the restaurant was empty after 7pm. There was a large "family" crowd earlier, that sits outside (weather permitting)...but kids seemed to just run around and trash the area.

    We sat inside and it was still noisy. Lots of kids inside which we were surprised since the outdoors area usually of Lafayette village is full of kids in the evenings.. the food was good, larger portions than we expected for appetizers. We went there on a date night but probably wouldn’t go again in the evening time.
