    My family havebeen there many times and they really enjoy the Lake Elmo Inn as our special place to go and celebrate an event. I know how I like my food cooked, I asked for no seasoning on my steak, this time the waitress seemed put out about how I ordered my dinner. Instead of the vegetables, I ordered a salad, when my dinner came it had the vegetables on it. I figure I am paying for the dinner, I should be able to order it my way.

    The menu has a lot of nice items to pick from. We went with the 2 daily specials (salmon and prime rib). Both were yummy. The revenge truffle appetizer was very different and quite good. Service was excellent. A little pricey but we'll worth the price

    This is a wonderful place to celebrate special occasions. Our server, Diane, was lovely and took excellent care of us. The food was outstanding, and we saved room for dessert from a number of tempting options. The ambiance was warm and cozy and the noise level was low, which was a big plus. We look forward to our next dinner!

    Wonderful lunch with friends! All had something different salmon BLT, Sunnies, walleye and pasta and prawns. All was just delicious, great service by Beth and we were not rushed

    I highly recommend the chicken pot pie. It was so full of chicken and tender vegetables in a light , velvety, white sauce, covered with a golden flakey crust. It was served with a small green salad.

    Lake Elmo Inn never disappoints. They are the best in the business at providing a wonderful experience and excellent food. Also, the dessert menu is fantastic. Definitely recommend.
