Franco and Noe Landini are the proud hosts of Landini Brothers restaurant. Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, and close to the Potomac River, Landini Brothers is a well-established landmark in Northern Virginia. It has been serving northern Italian food in the traditional Tuscan style since it opened in 1976. Franco's annual visits to his family and friends in Tuscany provide him with ample opportunity to learn about the latest advances in Tuscan cuisine—knowledge he brings home for the dining pleasure of restaurant guests.     Our dinner experience tonight was barely ok. They brought the wrong entree out for me, but it took forever to get the server to come back and replace it with the correct one. By that time, my husband’s meal was cold. We wanted to grab a drink & desserts at the bar before leaving and were told by the hostess that seats were first come, first serve. However, the bartender said we could not have the last two stools. It was obvious she was holding them for people who were not there. Our visit did not leave us wanting to dine there again.

    My husband and I been been several times. Tonight was the first time for our guests and they all enjoyed their dinners. Two had linguine vongole with red sauce, two enjoyed the linguine vongole with white sauce and one had fettuccine Alfredo. There were no complaints, only complements. The waiters are well trained, attentive and professional. Landini Brothers has become one of go to restaurants.

    Never, ever disappointed at Landinis. The food and service is always exceptional. It is our go-to place for an evening out by ourselves, with friends, or for a special occasion. A neighborhood gem!

    The food was good (NE clam chowder was good! It can appeal to to be room temperature but it’s for people to enjoy it at the moment) Drinks were good!

    Love the pasta - served on warmed plates, so delicious. Excellent fresh fish for a main; generous portions and always delicious. This favorite restaurant of over 35 years for us never disappoints.

    Landini is a fave of ours. The lower King Street location plus the old world ambience make it a charming experience. For the best bargain in Old Town go for lunch and order a $15 panini. Accompanied by a terrific side of potato salad plus an arugula salad - and preceded with bread and olive oil - you’ll leave neither hungry nor poor!
