Even though Post is a new name for most of us, it has been an important part of South Hamilton history since 1924. The historic building at 16 Bay Rd. was home to the South Hamilton Post Office, and a place for residents to send and pick up letters. In response to the Great Depression, and a drop in the postage rate (from three cents to 2 cents), the Postmaster added more opportunities for residents to pick up their mail. At Post, which at the time was known as “the brick block building”, letters were piled on a table, and a bell was rung to let residents know that they could come and retrieve their mail. Keeping with that tradition, guests of Post will have an opportunity to “Ring the Bell”, which signifies that they have bought a beer for our hard working kitchen and waitstaff. We are regulars (usually sit at the bar), last night there was no seats at the bar. We sat in the dining room and Shannon was our server. She has been our server on a couple of occasions and is always great. The food and service was excellent. You can’t beat Toscana Beverly!

Always a favorite. Never disappoints. We like to sit in the bar/ lounge area and people watch. Great atmosphere and great food. We always get the crab cocktail and the tenderloin with the risotto. We love the dim lighting and the well made cocktails. This has been one of our favorite places to go to for years.

We had an excellent experience at Rossetti Restaurant of Beverly! This was probably our third time eating at this location and honestly, it wasn't my first choice. However, this visit was by far our best overall experience. Rachel was an outstanding server, friendly and attentive to our time constraints. The food and drinks left no one, in our party of 4, disappointed.
