Restaurants near Cortez Beach

I love this restaurant. We eat here often. My favorite on the island. Only disappoint this time was that they ran out of apple pie

We’d given up on all the Chiles-owned restaurants on the island. Too expensive for what you get, no reservations, mediocre service with a “take-it or leave-it” attitude. Three hour wait at the Sandbar? This year, hearing they’d been sold we tried again. Went to MarVista first. It was fine! Beach House is near our place, so we tried it. Fun lunch. Very good lobster roll. Seated under the covered patio near the beautiful ocean. Great server. Manager types checked on us twice. Happy to report: GO!

As usually, our dinner was delicious and our server was friendly. My friend who was there for the first time really liked that she was able to get a super Tuscan by the glass.

Our dinner was very good. Their menu isn’t extensive but the dishes are expertly prepared. Our server was good but overwhelmed with many tables. Service was slower than we’ve experienced there in the past. Overall a very good experience.

the bar tender was the best! she waited on us too and we had the best most flavorful old fashion EVER! great experience
