The original Hot and Hot Fish Club was founded in the late 1700’s by the planters of All Saints Parish. The social club was dedicated to epicurean pursuits; gourmet food, strong drinks and festive times. The first club was said to be on Drunken Jack Island, located just a few miles south from here. Members of the original club described their past time spent on the island as the “happiest hours of their lives.” The Club was dismantled and finally laid to rest after the Civil War. An ever shifting sand bar off the coast of Huntington Beach State Park is all that remains of the original site. The Hot Fish Club today is located in the oldest existing restaurant building on the Grand Strand. Hot Fish Club remains a favorite gathering place today for discriminating locals and is open to everyone seeking Great Food, Great Drink, and Lively Conversation, in the spirit of those earlier revelers. We pride ourselves on our personal service and our desire to satisfy each guest.

Located on Charleston's Upper King Street, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves rustic Italian cuisine. With community tables, an open kitchen, and a comfortable atmosphere, Indaco can accommodate 100 guests for a casual night of food and drinks. The wine list is focused on affordable Italian varietals, the Negroni cocktail is on tap, and the fresh sodas are made in-house. The massive wooden doors on Upper King Street are your first indication that Indaco is different from the typical Charleston restaurant. Rustic details continue inside with butcherblock tables, lime-wash walls, and white brick. Thanksgiving buffet was excellent. They had a flounder stuffed with crabmeat that was just outstanding. Others in our group had the traditional Thanksgiving food and commented it was extremely good. I tasted the fried chicken and it was crispy and juicy. Service was outstanding by Stan who always had an eye on us. It is the slow season now so looking forward to the Spring when the piano player is back. Definitely recommend giving this restaurant a new try.

This was definitely one of my favorite Thanksgiving dinners. We were in Myrtle Beach this week with friends and had convinced them that, in the South, you want a seafood meal on Thanksgiving. They were almost convinced, but not completely. We made a reservation at Gulfstream Cafe, for the location, great beach setting, and the Oysters Rockefeller, She Crab Soup, and Grouper Francaise, all of which we ordered. On top of these choices, two members of the group got the full Thanksgiving dinner. Service was excellent. The food arrived almost as soon as it was ordered, but not too quickly. Everything was delicious, and we looked out on the beach from a wonderful corner table! Kudos and thank you to the Gulfstream Cafe!

Went for my daughter’s 22nd birthday. It was fabulous! We went a few months back for my wife’s birthday and had a great experience that time as well. Probably dined there half a dozen times. We are always pleased.

The food was amazing. You are going to spend a tad more, but you are spending money for food you can’t get anywhere else. Our waiter Jesse was outstanding. Would highly suggest you request him.
