My first time at the king Street location and the ambience was great. Initially I loved it. My issue was with my order. I ordered two espresso martinis made with tequila instead of vodka and they both came loaded with some kind of hot pepper! My throat and lips were burning after I tried it. That was a major mistake in my opinion that unfortunately turned me off of the drink even though the waitress was apologetic and brought new ones. I understand mistakes will be made but when the bill came I was also charged 4 times for the two drinks that were originally laced with hot pepper! I didn't get the drinks removed from my bill for the pain of the first sip (long lasting burning in my throat and lips) and for the inconvenience. I think that is what should have been done in that situation. Other from that unfortunate experience, I enjoyed the restaurant.

The reason I chose Aera because I heard this restaurant offers an unbeatable view of the CN Tower. The atmosphere is cozy and the service was exceptional—attentive and friendly. Despite the weather, the experience was memorable, and the food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great views and top-notch service!

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Daphne in Toronto for a holiday dinner, and it was an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed the Tuna Carpaccio, Beef Tartare, Branzino, Mussels, and Salmon, and every dish was executed to perfection. The flavors were fresh and beautifully balanced, leaving us savoring every bite. The highlight of our evening, however, was the impeccable service. Our waiter, Tarin, went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional dining experience. His attentiveness, friendliness, and genuine care made us feel truly special. It was hands down the best service we’ve ever received. We will definitely be back and recommend this gem to anyone looking for outstanding food and top-tier service in Toronto.

Our meal began with house-made bread and olive oil, complemented by a refreshing tomato salad as an appetizer.
