Established in 1987, Meson Don Felipe was the first Tapas Bar in London and we are still an independent, family-run business. You can expect great tapas and some amazing, well-priced Spanish wines, served in an authentic, relaxed atmosphere. We have an outside terrace with heaters and umbrellas but of course, we can't promise the weather! If you book outside we can't guarantee a table inside if the weather changes.For those unable to eat-in, we offer our famous Paellas for takeaway at lunchtime Monday-Friday.Thank you for all your support and we look forward to welcoming you soon to this little bit of Spain in Waterloo.

Since the Romans left, the Italians have been operating a policy of conquering the world's palate, plate by plate, and traditionally-run family restaurants like Cotto are their failsafe. The welcome is unfailingly warm here, the decor is authentic in feel, with murals on the walls, and the pleasures of the table are taken seriously indeed. Cotto is a 5-minute walk from the London Eye and the Aquarium, perfect for before or after family outings and it's also very popular with business customers during the week. There's live music on offer, too. As for the menu, try classic Tricolor salad to start, one of more than a dozen pastas, like Spaghetti carbonara, and a main course of simply and beautifully grilled Sirloin steak.     Cotto was incredible. It honestly felt like we’d left london and stepped into a little piece of Italy! The staff were so lovely and chatty, and the food was just impeccable! Honestly the best Italian food we’ve had since being in Italy itself. I’m celiac and it’s so unusual to be able to enjoy anywhere that’s really authentic and not a chain. But 90% of the menu was gluten free so I could fully enjoy the experience. I also don’t eat much meat but there were plenty of veggie options too. We chatted with the owner while we were there and he is celiac himself so it feels very safe from a celiac perspective. Highly recommend!

    Lovely romantic atmosphere for Valentines. Warm and friendly. Service was great and staff were lovely. I managed to get a few vegan options. Food was lovely.
