Beneath the hotel, a bank vault and offices were occupied by the Manufacturers Trust Company until 1980. What began as an idea for a small space in New York’s East Village has since become a downtown New York staple, housed on the Bowery for the last ten years. I’m so happy we were able to make a reservation online! We Got our table right on time. Our server took care of us brilliantly! Shout out to Patty P, our server. She was lovely! She did a great job with explaining the menu and the specials, making suggestions for wine. And just overall entertaining. She did a fabulous job of getting us everything we asked for.

Really excellent food with large portions. It was served quickly but not too quickly and didn’t have to wait for the check. It is loud and the tables are tight. I prefer to sit outside during the summer but no choice during winter.
