Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there. Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients.     As always, our dining here is a pleasure. Cocktails are well made. Their soups are wonderful. Husband had French Onion soup. I had the steak frites, my steak was prepared perfectly and the peppercorn sauce is the best. The fries are thin and crispy. Husband had the duck, which is one of their specialties and we agreed it is done to perfection. For dessert, we shared a grand marnier soufflé. Our server, Pierre, was attentive & always a pleasure when we are lucky to be at one of his tables.

    Our first time and we were delighted to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary there. Great experience in all respects starting with the friendly and polite greeters. Service quality was exceptional Food portions and flavors were quite good!
