The food was very good. My son had the salmon and I was worried that he wouldn’t like it because it might be dry. It’s also weird for a 13 year old to order salmon right? Anyway, he loved it. I was impressed. My wife ordered the pasta of the day or something like that. It had foie gras, truffle mixed in a cream sauce with duck. Crazy good. Burger was ok. Little over done. The place is pricey but the ambiance makes up for it. The wine cellar and bar look awesome.

Stunning historical setting that is a must see for all looking for a fabulous dinner venue in Montreal. Servers lovely but service slow especially in bar waiting for drinks to be made, and in restaurant waiting on bill. We had another great meal at Le Cerf-Volant! The seared scallops with celeriac were wonderful. We were both so happy we ordered it. The shrimp gnocchi were delicious and decadent. The beef cheek, what can I say, just WOW! We can’t wait to dine there again.

Great menu with delicious food and drinks options at a reasonable price. Nice ambiance, quiet restaurant. We had made reservations prior to our arrival at this restaurant. The waiter seemed unaware of our reservation, but thankfully there were plenty of seating options as the restaurant wasn’t busy. We had specified at the time of reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, however this was not acknowledged at all while we were there. The waiter was quick to take our order. Initially we wanted the charcuterie board, however we told that the chef didn’t have all the items on hand to make this. We decided to go with the brie instead and it was delicious. All in all, we’d give this place another shot if we happen to go back to this area.
