Restaurants near Indianapolis Amtrak Station

We splurge once a year to come here and it never disappoints. It’s not super fancy so we don’t feel out of place, but it’s a very nice place for a special date night. The food and drinks are always delicious. This visit I got the filet which was *chefs kiss* as always, but the brussel sprouts were where the meal really shined. The toasted ravioli appetizer was perfect. My husband loves the shrimp cocktail, with the signature famous cocktail sauce they share with their sister restaurant St. Elmo’s. If you’ve somehow never tried this gem, do yourself a favor and go. Worth every penny.

First time eating here. Party of two. An overall very pleasant surprise. Service was fantastic and the food was outstanding. While they have a limited menu for a Mexican restaurant, everything that we ate was super, and everything that we saw go by, looked really good.  They don’t play traditional Mexican music, but opt for more pop style music, which can be a bit annoying. We did not like the layout or the numerous small 2-top tables that they have. The 2-tops are so small, there’s hardly room for your food when it arrives. Too crowded. With all that said, we would go back. PS. - the $17 margarita was quite small for the price tag, but it was tasty. 

Great service, food was prepared perfectly. Looking forward to going back again soon. Only downside was pricing wasn’t very clear when we ordered the surf and turf. Both of us assumed we were getting the menu price. However items were substituted without our understanding and we ended up paying for the cold water, larger lobster tail, which clearly is better quality and better tasting however, that’s not what we had intended to order and had even asked the question prior to ordering. So when our bill was almost twice as much, we were a little shocked 

Everything was awesome, though I just didn’t really like creamed spinach to begin with and just wasn’t a fan. Steak was pretty decent for a filet, not dried out and had a nice flavor. Mashed potatoes were good just seemed to be microwaved. Dessert was awesome and they even gave us a discount and a free shrimp cocktail because they served someone else our dinner by mistake. Not a big deal at all and we had a great time, didn’t mind the wait on our food. I would go back and try some more seafood items, the shrimp and their cocktail sauce was perfect! I would go back just because it was a nice place and we were treated very well. Thank you!

Coming back to Indianapolis after many years we made it a point to come to st. Elmo for a celebration with family and we were not disappointed. Our services Will was charming, funny and very knowledgeable about the menu and selection of drinks ( which wow is impressive itself) my husband, brother and sister n law had steak and mashed potatoes I had the South African lobster and my goodness cooked to perfection melted into our mouths .. definitely a treat and the dessert were yummy as well .
