- SSandraPhoenix / Arizona •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoDined here to celebrate a birthday. The cheese bread with shrimp and Rockefeller sauce was delicious and perfect to share for our larger group. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Shrimp and grits, Pelican sandwich, Shrimp Poboy, Friend shrimp meal with additional oysters and the Fresh Grouper prepared Italian Fra Diavolo. Huge lump crap and red chili flakes! Yum. Justin our server offered a complimentary dessert but we had a cake. He offered small plates and brought them promptly. Several staff members stopped by to say happy birthday. We were also well attended throughout our meal by Justin. Always a great experience here and we like to support small independent and locally owned businesses.More infoKatie's Seafood HousePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Galveston•4.7

- MMaryAnnNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI love Rudy and Paco’s. I’ve been there many times over the years. Usually, everything is excellent. This time, I was disappointed in the atmosphere. Too many tables, too close together. It takes away from the cozy atmosphere. Also, the evening after Thanksgiving, I’m sure was an issue with crowding. Everyone at our table loved their steak. The lobster tail on the special was tough, they said. In my opinion, lobster here in Texas is usually a little dry. I ordered the halibut. It was a little dry. Texas isn’t the place to order halibut. I should have ordered the snapper. I think it had been cooked in the oven too long. Sides were good. The wine list is the very best anywhere. I loved my gin martini and the wine with dinner. Overall, the evening was very nice. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Rudy and Paco’s is a special place. It’s one of my favorite restaurants on the island!More infoRudy & Paco Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Galveston•4.9

- LLindsayDallas - Fort Worth •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoGaido is a Galveston institution- and our family eats there every time we are in town. Excellent service, delicious food and the warm ambiance of tradition is always a must. This time we had the raw oysters (in season) which were delicious and my husband appreciated the custom martini menu. We also never forget to order the pecan pie- which is famous for a reason! Great food, great memories and like always, we will be back….More infoGaido's Seafood RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Galveston•4.7
