- JJanieVIPNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe were greeted by a gentleman, who seated 3 of us at our table with 2 more to arrive. The occasion was my wife's 77th birthday. Our waiter announced himself and poured us water and handing 5 menus to include the 2 on the way. Our tables were neat and the linen clean. The final two of our fivesome arrived and we all selected our fair for the occasion. The food was excellent and the waiter was attentive to the task. It was overall a very positive experience.More infoThe Saybrook Fish HousePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Glastonbury•4.8

Ive been here for breakfast and brunch in the past and it was good.. not so good when I bring larger groups. But today was phenomenal! They served our table brunch foods in serving size bowls, So everyone has their food at one time and everyone's was hot There was plenty left over and they urged us to take it home. The host, to the waitstaff were great, friendly and shared their appreciation for choosing them for our event. We will be back in March for our quarter review check-in on our business goals. Thank you!More infoRiver: A Waterfront Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Wethersfield•4.2

We were not disappointed and will be back.More infoJ. Gilbert’s – Wood Fired Steaks & Seafood – GlastonburyPrice: Expensive• Steak• Glastonbury•4.8
- SScottNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoTreated like they really wanted you to visit and enjoy yourself. Our waiter, Christian, could not have been more accommodating. The food was delicious, so much so that every bite was pleasant for both of us. Very imaginative preparation and presentation. You go to a place like Max’s on a special occasion hoping to get your money’s worth and we always have. And it seems we always comment the next day how much we enjoyed our night out at Max Fish. The ONLY thing I’d change if I were king: Max Fish always provides delicious rolls/bread in a nice basket, but the tiny pad of butter they provide is rock-hard, unspreadable and not even enough for one person, and we had two people. Would love spreadable butter or olive oil for dipping. Still, that minor irritation is nothing that would keep us from a return visit.More infoMax Fish - GlastonburyPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Glastonbury•4.7
