Restaurants near Akers Mill Shopping Center

This was our first time having the pleasure of eating lunch here. My husband and I truly enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious. I had the pork chop, which was absolutely amazing. My husband really enjoyed his filet. We made sure to save room for dessert and we were happy we did. The bread pudding and key-lime pie were delicious. Chad took care of us and was so delightful. We will definitely be making this one of our regular spots. See you soon!

As usual Ray’s never disappoints and has been used for celebrations in our family for at least the last 22 years. Salmon Oscar was to die for, first time trying it. My daughter and her fiancé shared the peppercorn New York strip which was a little too hot in spice to their liking and a bit cold in temperature but the restaurant was very busy and we were on a time limit so we did refrain from making a complaint. The sides were enjoyable and appetizer were had so no one went hungry. The restaurant was quiet and enjoyable until a party was sat near us who were very loud and a bit disrespectful to all around them. Otherwise fabulous dinner.

The timing of everything flowed smoothly and we felt welcome and well taken care of by everyone from complimentary valet parkers to hostess and host to our waiter. Loved the beet salad, salmon, duck and rabbit. Nice wine list. And the cracker jack ice cream at the end was awesome. We celebrated a bithday, and multiple employees wished Al a happy birthday along the way. The place was packed and festive without feeling crowded. And the handsome brick walls and ambient lighting provided the perfect setting for a fun and elegant evening.

We enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration supported by the restaurant. They printed a special menu and put happy birthday decorations on the table as well as a big piece of ice cream cake with a candle. Our server, Shannon is the best waiter ever. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. 

I have never had a bad meal at Hal's. I always spend at least one evening there every time I come to Atlanta. The service is always excellent as is the food. Bryan suggested I try the duck which was delicious! The lobster bites were also excellent as always and my son said his steak was cooked just as he asked. The noise level is high so we always sit upstairs. I look forward to my next visit to Atlanta and Hal's.
