Restaurants near Algonkian Golf Course

We've been enjoying L'Auberge's unparalleled hospitality and wonderful food since the early 1980s. It's truly wonderful to know that some things in life remain constant. Our Thanksgiving/Birthday experience shone with the excellent menu--the Beef Wellington was a piece of art; the Thanksgiving Turkey special was indeed special. I know we'll continue to visit far into the future, so long as they'll have us, as there is just no equal in the entire DC area.

Your festive Thanksgiving Buffet was wonderful as always. We especially loved that it included Chicken Marsala this year. My family would be tickled if you would include a traditional turkey stuffing that's made from 'regular' bread as well as that made from cornbread. This is our third year dining at the Bungalow Lakehouse for Thanksgiving, and for the first time we had to wait in quite a long line at the carving station. Perhaps if we had reserved a table for a slightly later hour this wouldn't have happened, as our reservation was for four-thirty when you 'reopened' for evening diners? Thank you to everyone who works so hard to make such an experience possible for us and so many others.

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving in your joyous and beautiful restaurant. We ordered the turkey dinner, which was marvelous. Everything was perfectly cooked. The only improvement would be to have more people to bus tables as our plates sat on the table after we are finished for a good 25 minutes. I know that  this is probably isolated to the busy holiday. That would be the only thing that I would improve great meal thank you.

Everything was great EXCEPT the music was way toooo loud. We asked if it could be turned down and they did lower it a bit but said that “corporate” required them to play it that loud.

Amazing as usual!! Jason was a wonderful waiter! Respectful, polite, attentive, funny and kind! Glenn was also wonderful as always! Thank you for making my Aunt who was visiting from FL feel so special for her birthday! ❤️
