If there is a chance of rain we will have to cancel.Shiro has been named the Zagat Guide's number one restaurant and is consistently one of the highest rated establishments in the guide (#5 in 2011; #2 for service in 2013).     Wonderful ambience - feels like you’re in a cozy (but classy) old home. Service was wonderful. All the food was delicious, and the cocktails are unique and very good. So far, I’ve only been with larger groups of family, but I’d love to come back for a romantic dinner.

    The Arbour restaurant is truly a Pasadena gem. The salad to start are not overdressed, the salads are also fresh and presented beautiful We each enjoyed the pasta dishes. The pasta is cooked to perfection and well seasoned. We had the pumpkin pie which is amazing From our server Patrick, the chef Ian, kitchen staff, all the staff this restaurant is wonderful.

    great bubbly, sandwiches, desserts and tea; perfect service. Next time (there will definitely be a next time!) I would ask to keep the scones and add fruit (decrease the hard to dismiss desserts). thanks for a great bday photo! (servers are excellent photographers).

    I’ve been to Bar Chelou a few times but they have really hit their stride. The service was on point, the drinks were fun and delicious, and the food was incredible. Every dish had an unexpected twist, from the mini peperoncinis in the salad to the tang of peanut butter in the carrots to the umami in the tempura mushrooms, lovely surprises all around! And they coursed everything out beautifully and got us to the show at the Playhouse right on time, chef’s kiss!
