Restaurants near Amber Lantern Motel

We stayed at Fort Willam Henry Hotel so it was very convenient. Had a drink at the bar first. Bartender was friendly and made a great drink (not at all shy with the booze, but not too strong). Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Gorgeous views of Lake George. A little on the pricey side but I thought it was worth it.

My boyfriend and I went here for our Valentine’s Day celebration. It was the first time for both of us being here. We sat out on the porch. The honey butter is amazing. The surf and turf was delightful. The chocolate flourless cake was thick and fudge like and wonderful. Jeremy, our waiter was very pleasant. Can’t wait to go back in the summer and sit on the lawn. It was very romantic and the soundtrack couldn’t have been beat. I wanna know what station they were playing? 

We rented the outdoor fire pits for a happy hour family group in January. It was snowing lightly. We dressed in layers and were fortunate the weather was just cold and not windy. The server was super attentive to us, walking through some slippery snow to serve us our drinks. The fire pits overlook the lake, but the snow washed out the view a bit. It was a really “cool” thing to do and we plan on booking the fire pits again next year. I would recommend the fire pits for a happy hour followed by dinner in the hotel.

The experience at Shepard’s at Erlowest was simply amazing! The food was spectacular along with the drinks! Highly recommend eating here! Service was great too! The ambiance was divine!

We discovered this restaurant last year and made a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner. It exceeded our expectations. We were so happy & satisfied with the food, service, price & ambience that we decided to do our holiday dinner there every year. This year we went for Christmas dinner & once again, they met our expectations in every category. Charlie's Bar & kitchen is our new tradition!
