Valentine’s Day reservation. Had to wait about 10 minutes to get table, which wasn’t bad. Waiting room has comfortable couches and chairs as well as a fireplace that was on. They had a quartet of singers who serenaded me and my girlfriend which was cute. Ordered NY Strip and Filet, I would say the NY Strip was cooked better, my filet despite being medium rare was tougher than what I would expect. Very good bread, very good creme brulee, french fries were good but nothing special. Overall bill was just under $200, which isn’t bad for a date night.

Every dish we got was outstanding! Alcohol choices were great. It’s nice they can have the outdoor seating out in the igloo (there may have even been too many heaters out there lol). Overall an incredible Valentines meal!

Took my long-time friend for Valentine's Day. We have never tried 1870. I made a reservation a month in advance because it was Valentine's Day. We were seated on the second floor, the Jewett Room. They only have four tables in the room so compared to the bar area, it was quiet. We had a table for 4, so for the 2 of us we had plenty of room. My date started with a cocktail, "The Mother of all President's", which was fabulous. The service was terrific, special shout out to our waiter Jacob. The meal was perfectly prepared. We both had the 6 oz filet mignon and it was so flavorful and tender. We shared the sauteed spinach and au gratin potatoes. For dessert, we split the dark chocolate tart, which went well with our bottle of Caymas Cabernet. I highly recommend for a special occasion. We heard they have a great happy hour, so we will definitely return and check it out.

This is a true upscale restaurant. The atmosphere, the service and of course the food. We are foodies and had not found a restaurant that is better than our own cooking. Perry's did not disappoint. It may be a little step in price for some people. However, it is awesome for special occasions. We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary there and couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Megan and the Manager at Short Pump location for making our night special.

As always the food was wonderful and our server Jonah was exceptional. We’ll ask for him on future visits. However, I do have a comment about the food delivery which was not good. With our party of 6 our meals arrived sporadically making it uncomfortable for some to have to wait while others received their meals. This has occurred on other occasions as well so a better job needs to be done to make the experience better. I know it’s probably a difficult thing to do but we asked for a quieter table as a few of us have difficulty with hearing but I feel a better job could’ve been done to accommodate our request…perhaps a corner table towards the back of the restaurant. For our parties of 4 we usually are given a booth which works wonderfully and we appreciate our request being accommodated. Aside from those issues we will continue to frequent and support Coopershawk.
