- CCarolynnLos Angeles •24 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe celebrated Valentine’s Day here and once again it didn’t disappoint! Our waiter was Luciano who we have had the good fortune to have him serve us for the third time. He was not only friendly and efficient in bringing us our food but also made time on a very busy night to listen to my husband’s jokes attentively. We both loved our bacon wrapped filets which were delicious, tender and cooked to medium rare perfectly. The cheese bread continues to be wonderful. The Beringer Cabernet complimented the filets We forgot to bring our bottle of champagne so we opted to bring home our whiskey bread pudding so we could enjoy it with our champagne. The perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Our only regret is that the warm bacon and spinach salad is no longer on the menu so we opted for the French onion soup which was good but we thought it would have been better with some more onions in it. We will definitely be back!More infoThe DerbyPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Arcadia•4.8

- AAprilVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •38 reviews4.0Dined on 1 Jan 2025My partner and I ate there for an early, low key New Year's Eve dinner. We order a lot of food but that enabled us to try more variety, and then we had enough for another dinner at home the next night. We started with Crab Soup with Fish Maw. Delicious, and generous amount of crab. It was hard to stop with one bowl but we had to leave room for the other dishes. The Sea Scallops with Asparagus was also excellent. We ate all the scallops and took home some of the asparagus. Then came half a Roasted Duck which was a lot of skin and fat. It was better as leftovers when we could cook a lot of the fat down. We also ordered a side of Pea Leaves in Special Sauce. They tasted like peas but much more delicate, which we enjoyed. If we weren't passing through we would already have plans to return.More infoCapital Seafood RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Pasadena•4.1

The restaurant didn't seem that busy, but it did take a bit longer than expected for the food to arrive. Otherwise, it was amazing! We will definitely go back!More infoMélangePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Pasadena•4.2
