Initially waitress said food would be a while arriving would we like nibbles! We declined and food arrived 5 minutes later!!! A ploy to buy more? Had fish cakes with poached egg on top. Egg was cold and food not terribly warm. However it was tasty,

Has the Spaghetti Carbonara like we always do and there was chilli Flakes through the pasta. Why on earth would you do that. I ate mine, the wife wasted hers it really wasn't that good. Expected better. Service was pretty slow considering how quiet the restaraunt was.

Sharing plate was an ideal size for a light lunch and tasted fantastic. Lovely venue where all staff were attentive and friendly.

Our food was delicious. Two of us had the Christmas special chicken burger which did not disappoint, the flavours were delicious and overall very filling. I had the chicken mac and cheese waffles. Fluffy waffles with tasty mac and cheese and two large pieces of chicken with a flavoursome coating. We also had a boozy milkshake each. I would have loved to of had the red velvet pudding but I couldn't eat another thing !! A great lunch for sure.
