- MMikeAustin •10 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe staff had read my request to be seated against a wall rather than in the middle of the restaurant due to my hearing problems. That was very appreciated. After we were seated, there was some issue with the waitstaff assignment, and we were completely ignored for over 10 minutes. Kyle, one of the hosts, noticed the issue and effectively waited our table for the evening. While our assigned waitress came by and apologized, she never provided any service. Kyle continued to see to our needs, and I handed him our tip in cash as we left. The food is great, the noise level in the main part of the downstairs restaurant is pretty loud. But, we were able to have a great evening thanks to their consideration of my hearing. This was my second visit, and we'll be back. Give Kyle a raise. He's observant, smart, and service oriented. BTW, we were there before attending a show at the Paramount, and they offer a discount to ticket holders! Check them out. We'll be back.More infoCarolinePrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.5

- TTomAustin •15 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoChef Gianfranco surprises and delights with his high quality ingredients melded to make traditional and innovative Italian fare. Find wonderful pizza here, with toppings loaded on the best bread in town - dough made with love and used for focaccia and table bread. Pastas are all imported from Italy's pasta town near Naples, except for one or more made in-house, and always cooked to al dente perfection. Sauces run the gambit from traditional bolognese (meat sauce) to inventive wonders like shrimp and asparagus in a light white sauce. Wonderful wine selection from Italy and from surprising places just east of Italy where the fruits of their centuries-old vineyards have yet to be marketed to Americans. Homemade gelato and other desserts are wonderful or end with a grappa or vin santo, my favorite on those occasions that i have room.More infoQuattro Gatti Ristorante e PizzeriaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.7

This time everything was great but the server was a tad bit slow in filling our drinks and coming back to check on us. Otherwise another great experience ❤️More infoJ-Prime Steakhouse AustinPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.8
