- SStuartHertfordshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe decided to stick with the set menu/ pre theatre however lots of tempting sounding options on main and specials board...succulent and tender venison in the bourginion...mum enjoyed the bream...lots of lobster sauce...more of a bisque. We tried the hazelnut parfait as something different and this was light enough to not sit too heavily during our theatre visit and rounded off the meal beautifully. Wines served at correct temperatures etc. All in all....Great ambience. Efficient and relaxed/ not rushed. Service polite and welcoming. Just what a bistro should be. Will def return if back in the area.More infoThe OppositionPrice: Moderate• Modern European• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4.7

The food menu has plenty of choice and service is on time and not rushed. Visit regularly and our first choice for meeting up with friends and family.More infoCarluccio's - Stratford Upon AvonPrice: Expensive• Italian• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4
- FFionaLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoDelightful staff. Pleasant surroundings given the ancient nature of the building. Well cooked food and a good selection of wines. I didn’t find the menu filled with choices I wanted to try, but the 2 dishes my husband and I chose were both excellent.More infoLoxley's Restaurant & Wine BarPrice: Moderate• British• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4.8

This time an excellent starter of pear carpaccio with toasted almonds, honey dressing and whipped goats cheese… delicious and imaginative. Followed by a nice risotto.More infoThe VintnerPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4.7
- AAudeLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI thought it was going to be an overpriced roast lunch experience as everything is in the UK- But I was very very happy - first we changed our mind few times about where we wanted to eat ( restaurant or bar ) as we have a dog and you can be only in the bar area with the dug so I planned to take him back Home but what happened was great - they reserved us a table by the fire at the bar so it felt really nice! Then the food was great - and I am really demanding - The proportions were good ( the roast was plenty!!) the shared platter was good ( I thought it would be better but it was good enough) - the atmosphere was great, service was perfect and I was not easy!!! I loved everything The price was ok - I thought I would pay that - The roast was really good - the horseradish sauce could be milder if I could say a tiny improvement feedback - Thank you - seriously it couldn’t haven’t been better for the UK ( price/ food/ atmosphere/ service quality)More infoThe WoodsmanPrice: Very Expensive• British• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4.6
