Restaurants near Bar U Ranch National Historic Site

The food is always good here, nice variety of pasta, meat, and salad dishes. It’s nicely prepared with nice flavor. A full bar with a very nice cocktail menu and a good selection of wine as well. Our server was outstanding very attentive, and engaging. I would recommend her and she seems to be pretty typical of the type of serving stuff they have here. The only reason this review is not a five star review is I feel that the prices are a little bit high with appetizers, running very close to the same prices entrées. This is hands-down, the best fine dining experience in Okotoks in my opinion.

Honestly the best experience I’d ever had at a restaurant. Beautiful interior, cool and unique uniforms for service staff, and incredible food. Sam was our server and *made* the best anniversary dinner that my girlfriend and I have had by far. He was very personable and entertained us with genuine conversation. His knowledgeable presentation of the meat board was a big help in deciding which steak we would order and he also gave great recommendations on wine. In terms of general service, the cherry on top for me were the hot towels provided after the main course - ‘extra’ details like this, and many more, are what truly make me believe that Chairman’s is, undeniably, the best fine dining steakhouse in the city!

We had a FANTASTIC dinner at Major Tom. Best service I have ever experienced!!! I have a dairy allergy and the waiter made notes on the menu to show what I could order as is or modified - and there were lots of options. All the staff (and especially our main waiter) were so friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive - while also giving us our space and not making us feel rushed. The view of the city is incredible! There are many delicious cocktail and mocktail options and appetizers. The food was INCREDIBLE! So so so delicious and very high quality. The filet minion was so tender and flavourful. Our waiter also brought us the most incredible vegan chocolate dessert at the end. If you want to spoil yourself or a loved one, go to Major Tom's - you won't be disappointed!

Family lunch and we all had something different but everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server (Shelby) was engaging and helpful, quick to fill up coffee and water. Only minor complaint was background music a bit loud. With six seniors, it was a little hard to hear everyone talk.

Our experience was very good. We were both birthday girls enjoying a much needed get together . For birthday folks you get a free nachos 😋 if you sign up for the Candian Brewhouse app. The recommendations by the server were helpful and informative, and in the end very tastey. Food was very good, customer service rep was excellent, it was a little noise to start but it seemed to get tined down and it was clean.
