Had an absolutely great time with my gf and would recommend it to anyone. Was way more than we expected, the food was excellent and so was the service.

Fabulous food, cozy ambiance & gracious service. This is a family favorite restaurant, and we love coming to Cesarina to celebrate special occasions. The pastas & antipasti are all so delicious. The carpaccio is superb & sliced so thin it's transparent. My husband always orders a pasta allo scoglio (seafood pasta), my daughter pasta with bolognese, and my son & I usually order a house special - which is oftentimes a ravioli or other stuffed pasta. Also, be sure to save room for the absolute best tiramisu ever. It's an easily shareable dessert... and it's made tableside & completely out of this world delicious! My daughter loves Cesarina so much that we've celebrated a family lunch together at the restaurant for the past few birthdays :) The staff are always so warm & friendly, and we've loved the keepsake Polaroids of her every year! Amazing service! We were celebrating a birthday and the staff went out of their way to make us feel special. Our entire meal was well prepared and very tasty. This was the best service we received during our trip to SoCal. You should definitely check it out

We had a lovely new years brunch (though I do wish they actually served brunch fare). Everything was very delicious! The service, while very friendly and accommodating, got a little slow toward the end as it got busier, which is understandable. It would’ve been okay except we were in a booth that was one of two they have for parties of six but maybe six short, slim people? Pretty uncomfortable, especially in that corner spot, I spent the whole meal with my arms up over the back of the booth. I’m chubby but the rest of my party were regular sized men and one slim woman and we all felt squashed. But otherwise, a beautiful meal on a lovely day.

We drove to San Diego for Thanksgiving because of the special meal offered. We had reservations, as recommended in the email I received. We were seated quickly, we had a choice of half booth ot table so we chose half booth. We had cocktails before our 1st course, salad or creamy pumpkin soup. We were able to sit comfortably, we were not rushed to eat our appetizer. Our main course was served. Beautiful plate of food was served on square plates. Loved it. The food all over was fantastic: easy to slice ham, moist turkey and stuffing, perfectly cooked green bean casserole, yummy mashed potatoes, crushed cranberries and rolls. By the time we were ready for dessert we were definitely full. What a great meal, and very tasty, you can taste the alcohol cocktails. 5 stars all around.
