A genuinely excellent Italian dining experience in Portland Maine's Old Port. The focus on locally sourced ingredients makes a big difference. The chef (from Genova) makes the most of the local fresh seafood. Service was perhaps the best we have had in Portland, which is a pretty high bar, but still, better here.

Had a great evening at David’s before attending a show at the Merrill. Ordered off the winter Wednesday menu and enjoyed the roasted seafood corn cakes, filet with maple sweet potatoes and spinach and ended with a Napolian pastry. All if the food was delicious and prepared to perfection. Our server was pleasant and checked on us throughout the meal. She was lovely. The noise level was a little loud but other than that I would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful dining experience here for the second time. The food was terrific and they more than accommodated my dairy allergy. Although I wanted to bring my wine, I was discouraged as the pork charge was a bit high but the wine they had was very good so I didn’t mind. We sat at the chefs counter, and it was a wonderful experience
