419 West was opened to the public in May of 2002 by Roger Neel Jr. and Al Pollard, the same operators that started Corned Beef and Company and Frankie Rowland's Steak House. The building was remodeled to the current state with the addition of a perfect dome in the middle of the dining room, a hand built mahogany bar, two private dining rooms, and a state of the art "open" kitchen. The kitchen features a wood burning oven for our pizzas, and a charcoal grill seasoned with hickory chips, for our ½ Pound Certified Angus Beef hamburgers and St Louis Style Ribs.The style of food is considered American with slight influences from the around the world and all over the United States. Whether you would like a multi course sit down dinner or are just stopping in for a hamburger or a pizza, we have menu items to suit your wants or needs.     I can’t put in to words how delicious everything was! Starting with the crab dip appetizer to the drinks..pomegranate martini, espresso martini, and rooftop cosmo… to the entrees..filet, crab cake ,and pork chop to desserts…chocolate pecan tart and beignets…it was all AHHHH-mazing!!!! And great service also!!!!

    We had a wonderful family lunch at Billy's the Saturday before Christmas and it was great! They were busy with holiday celebrations but the service was excellent and the food was fresh and delicious. Portions were generous but to-go boxes made it possible to enjoy an "echo" meal the next day.

    To start, the restaurant is simply beautiful during the holiday season. When we walked in we were greeted with smiles and warmth from a wood burning fire in the lobby area. Once seated, we had a view of yet another fireplace. Service was spot on and the wine very nice. However, it is the food that stole the evening. I had the ribeye rare and my wife had the ribeye medium rare. Both were cooked to perfection. The sides were delicious. We were too stuffed to have desert there but brought one home for a treat the next day. Would definitely recommend.

    In our first visit to OTH Chophouse, we were very impressed with the presentation, ambience, and preparation of our meal. We both had a signature cocktail. My Smokehouse cocktail had a natural smokiness without being overpowered my the sweet maple - a well executed balance. My entree was the Mahi, which was delicious. I also choose the brussel sprouts, grilled to perfection with yellow raisins within, providing a yummy contrast. All in all, a wonderful experience. We will be back.
