And what began in 1963 continues to this day, holding to its German roots through its rustic Alpine lodge decor, extensive beer selection and annual Oktoberfest celebration.     Absolutely wonderful from the time we entered the door. Ambiance, food, jazz trio, all staff and ESPECIALLY Darla and Daniel, our servers, made the entire experience fabulous!! Antoine’s brunch will be on the list next time we’re in NOLA. Great experience!!

    For apps, we did BBQ Shrimp, Firecracker Tuna Tacos, Lobster Dumplings + Yellowfin Tuna Yakitori. We shared the Scalibut. It was the best dish we had last night. For dessert, we got Bread Pudding + Carajillo. The service did feel a bit pushy. We ordered a bottle of 2022 Pinot Noir, would have liked to “drink in peace”. The restaurant smelled fishy when we entered, guess it’s expected from a seafood establishment.

    Tragic start to NYD considering the Bourbon St attack. Brennan’s opened late, we called to confirm our reservation too. Cindy & Sheldon were great. We went w/ Sheldon’s recommendations - Eggs Carpaccio (our fav), Oysters, Eggs St. Charles + Owen’s Scotch Egg. Definitely, we did the Banana Foster. The Musicians were a great addition. We had a better experience here vs Mr. B’s Bistro last night.
