Restaurants near Boon Island Light

Our family goes here for special occassions, and is a family favorite. Great atmosphere, quiet, peaceful and the food is great, portions just right. we will be back again.

This was a celebratory birthday lunch for two. We were promptly seated in our requested preferred location. The window-side views are unparalleled just about anywhere. Both the host and server greeted my wife by name and wished her a happy birthday. Service from Kate was professional and most friendly. Food was quite tasty. If I had to dig for a criticism, my wife's lobster and corn chowder was served at the same time as her lobster role. We did not think we needed to specify chowder first. I think the kitchen should have known better. This is not an everyday dining room, and if you're looking for a value meal, the value is in the extraordinary atmosphere and bold ocean view. This is truly a special occasion venue. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

Everything was perfect, the restaurant has such a homey old time feel. All the staff was super welcoming and it had been noted on the reservation it was my wifes birthday and they all greeted her with happy birthday and the birthday card on the table was a very nice unexpected touch. The food was beyond fabulous!!!! Loved the fire place smell, and the environment was perfect, alive and folks having conversation but we could very easily have a private conversation at our table. Post dinner walking the Strawberry Bank grounds all lit up for the holidays was an amazing fun bonus.

Always a pleasure to spend an evening at Toscana. The food is consistently delicious - my husband had his regular 36 ounce long bone rib eye and I had pasta. And the service is second to none. Christina always makes us feel like home. Thank you!

Good choices, all sounded delicious. Very pleased with my fish sampler. My husbands steak was cooked perfectly and very tender.
