Restaurants near Bromley Rock Park

Last night, my wife and I went and we had the risotto appetizer, which was one of the best risotto recipes I’ve had in a restaurant. Beautifully, elegant, tasty and very savory. The lamb was very good and service was at its usual excellent level.

A beautiful night spent with friends. Service was fabulous. Food was delicious. Thanks for making our night memorable for all the right reasons!

We love Home Block. The ambience is perfect, the staff are always very attentive - we had Stephanie who was so knowledgeable and engaging. We had the calamari and burrata to start… as usual, did not disappoint. I had the branzino which was underwhelming - no flavour whatsoever. My husband and son at the Bavette (steak). It was going to be served medium rare but my husband asked for medium. Our son enjoyed his ‘as is’ but it was too rare from a texture standpoint. But that’s us. We had the desserts to go but did share the chocolate mousse which was divine. Will definitely be back!

I ordered the fetaccine Alfredo and my husband ordered the winter salad with blackened chicken. We were very pleased with our meals. Tasty, fresh, and filling. The staff were attentive. Even at night the view across the lake was stunning. We will be back again and again.

Longshots steakhouse was very good. We ski every year at Apex and the last two years we have noticed that the Gunbarrel saloon has disappointed us. We used to look forward to the Gunbarrel but this year and last year the food took a long time during lunch time to get to us and the food quality and selection has gotten worse. There was a private event in the other dining room on Wednesday around noon which was probably the cause of the slow food service. Please block tables if the chefs can’t keep up with the food preparations. My wife and I almost cancelled our Longshot’s reservation due to the decline of the Gunbarrel saloon. To be specific, out meals at the Gunbarrel on Wednesday 21 Feb were not very good (Fried chicken sandwich and the French Dip sandwich).
