- TCToothpickChickFlickVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •18 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAmazing experience as usual. Unfortunately, they’ve added on a health surcharge and included gratuity plus increased pricing. Their system double charges customers for this by basically “double-taxing” the total after gratuity/health fees and not on the actual core base amount. It’s frustrating to see restaurants take this trend under the guise of “we can’t afford to pay for healthcare for our employees” but equally then not correctly implement this taxing system. It makes the conversation with servers awkward because the service staff is fabulous!More infoOlympia Provisions SoutheastPrice: Expensive• Contemporary European• SE Portland•4.6

If you're just with on other person, the best place to sit is at the kitchen bar -- you get to watch make all of the incredible food (including your own. Service is always on point as well. You won't ever have an empty glass and are able to order more food as needed.More infoCanard - BurnsidePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• NE Portland•4.9

We have eaten here at least a half-dozen times and never not enjoyed the experience. The food is always very good, authentic and fun. But, the service is exceptional.More infoGrand AmariPrice: Expensive• Italian• SE Portland•4.6

Again the flavors were spectacular! Our service was excellent and they were so informative. Such a memorable time for us.More infoLe PigeonPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• SE Portland•4.8
- KKathyVIPHawaii •47 reviews5.0Dined on 11 Jan 2025This is a teeny tiny restaurant (9 tables, 20 diners) that is wedged into a semi industrial district next to a tattoo parlor. Incredible how the chef can create so many masterpieces in a kitchen the size of a broom closet. John is the owner, and he seems to function as a one man Maistre d", server, busboy, sommelier, and probably janitor after the restaurant closes. Another amazing sleight of hand(s). There is a (very pricey) tasting menu available for $152 (before wine), that appears to have about 12 courses. The regular menu changes frequently. Basically, follow John's suggestions for everything. It's all fabulous. Downsides are that the tables are only inches apart, so don't come here for quiet, private conversations. Parking is a bit of a pain, but not a real obstacle to a great destination meal. Vive la France!!More infoC'est Si Bon! Bistro+VinsPrice: Expensive• French• NE Portland•4.7
