In the early 1970's, an old train caboose was added to provide a unique dining area. Our server we excellent. Apps were fantastic - server recommended the fried green tomatoes and the brussels, both of which didn’t it disappoint! One of us had the steak - good flavor, cooked correctly but it was terribly tough. I think it was just a bad cut of meat, nothing that the restaurant did. Other entree was the black cod with orzo which was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Chateau Morrisette is my favorite winery in Virginia. We have dined there several times and never disappointed. We went today and it was fairly quiet business wise. It was a group of 4 and Chris, our waiter was fantastic. He clearly understood my allergies to nuts, seeds and my alpha-gal. The food was amazing and prepared with my safety in mind. We are planning to go back a little more often. A great place for a nice quiet lunch.
