The Pink Adobe restaurant stands proudly in the heart of Santa Fe's historic Barrio De Analco neighborhood, which is considered the oldest neighborhood in the US. Founded in 1944 by Rosalea Murphy, an artist and social connector, the restaurant takes its name from the rose-colored adobe plastering on the nearly 400-year-old hacienda that serves as its home. This iconic Santa Fe destination at the heart of the Old Santa Fe Trail has been known for its fun, vibrant atmosphere and outstanding cuisine. Some of the famous well-known dishes are still existing such as the Steak Dunnigan, French Onion Soup and Hot Apple Pie among with new and innovative creations from our Executive Chef Mario de Leon. Chef-owned and operated for more than two decades, 315 is dedicated to serving both modern and contemporary French cuisine inspired by seasonal local ingredients. With a grassroots initiative, almost every dish is prepared from scratch using exceptional care in the procurement of every ingredient. In this way, we pay respect to the community by finding new ways to support Santa Fe’s unique culture of food and art. French food is much more than the classic dishes we all have learned to know and love. It is a philosophy within its composition and a discipline in its technique. Using carefully selected ingredients, we look for ways to enhance a dish rather than overwhelm it. This is where the dance begins between the food and the wine.

We shared the Foie Gras. The preparation was absolutely beautiful and tasty. My husband had the Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. Huge portion of a traditional meal made to perfection. He took half to go! I had the mushroom/pasta appetizer and it was delicious. We have been to 315 several times and have never been disappointed. If you appreciate traditional French food this is the place to go for dinner while visiting Santa Fe.

Last night I took my daughter to dinner on a date to celebrate her 20th birthday. We sat in the President's Room and listened to Doug Montgomery play piano. It was delightful with the Fondue as our appetizer as a wonderful sharing appetizer. I ordered the Elk Loin and it was the best I have ever had cooked medium to perfection. I'm so grateful Rio Chama is here in Santa Fe. One of my top restaurants. Doug's piano playing was a delight! My daughter and I had a blast. Thank you Rio Chama.
