Restaurants near Carricknath Point to Porthbean Beach

Food was absolutely superb, but it was our first time trying South Africa food and we will certainly be returning. The staff were excellent very attentive and the service was quick and efficient. Drinks were very tasty and we even sample for the gorgeous puddings fast desserts and we were not disappointed. Everything that’s like this point is a £30 deposit per person that you have to pay in advanced to reserve a table, I can understand this as it’s a relatively small restaurant but it is a little bit of putting when you first book it although it was no issues when it came to the bill as automatically deducted from the final bill. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It was absolutely superb and a bit of hidden gem within Cornwall.

Great value cocktails - the usual suspects plus some delicious bespoke ones (Berry Inferno - Yum). The Windjammer Copper Ale was also well priced and a good brew. The meat from the smoker was tender and well flavoured, the chips, coleslaw and BBQ sauce perfect accompaniments. Service was friendly and professional. Will be honest, we don't usually go out on Valentine's Night; the atmosphere was quite flat as all tables were couples. Would imagine on a sunny Saturday, the atmosphere is much more lively! Still a great meal out though; would recommend

Great atmosphere, efficient and friendly staff, food was excellent quality, delicious, good portion sizes, arrived promptly. Well done to all at Cafe Mylor for creating a jewel of a place.

Fabulous food - the fish pie is really gorgeous and is very popular. The staff are all fantastic - welcoming, warm and very helpful. Atmosphere of the building is cosy and the beams are fantastic although ducking may be required in places! A walk down the pontoon to look at the river and watch the wildlife is a must, even in chilly weather. Car park spaces are limited but everyone seems to manage fine!
