A very nice dinner and relaxing evening with great food and service.

Super food salad is literally a delicious and healthy dish. Add the salmon and it’s even better! Lunch time may be our new favorite time to visit The Tavern. Wait staff is more relaxed and personable and you can relax and take in all the uniqueness of this landmark establishment.

We started our evening at the 1855 Lounge. It’s a beautiful venue with high level cocktails and scotch. Great way to start! Walked over to Lionne next door and had an amazing dinner. Enjoyed delicious lobster bisque, a traditional NLI flavor. Our entree was beautifully browned scallops, black rice with light raisins for a little sweet, tiny tomatoes and spicy micro greens. We were very impressed with both the great flavors and original presentation. The dessert we chose was a yummy chocolate cake with fresh fruit, sherbet and lemon cream. It was truly a great dinner at a new venue that didn’t disappoint at all!

Great dinner 1st timer as we were heading to a college football game at State College.

Went here for me and my husband’s 9th wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint. The food and drinks were perfect. The steak was cooked to perfection. The only issue my husband had was the shrimp and grits were a little too spicy for his liking but he’s used to more traditional shrimp and grits and not so much the spice. The deserts were killer and the staff even left us a sweet anniversary card. Will definitely recommend to others!
