My partner and I had a great time here celebrating a post-Valentine's dinner. We ordered their warm prosciutto wrapped appetizer special, chicken stroganoff, bacon-infused meatloaf (w/gruyere mashed potatoes), and pumpkin sundae dessert. I, as well, ordered one of their mocktails, the sage advice. None of the dishes--nor my drink--were disappointing aside from a couple small personal preferences. The value was overall quite good too considering the food, services, and atmosphere; our total came to around $110 after tip. Speaking of the service, our waitress was very attentive and helpful, as were the others milling about. They were consistent in checking in after food was delivered and kept us updated on when we could expect our next round. We will definitely consider going back in the future!

The food (lobster) was delicious, our waitress was very very good and our time there was fabulous.

WOW! We have driven by this restaurant so many times and saw that the parking lot was overflowing but had no idea why. Yesterday, we found out! The outside doesn't look like much but when you walk in there is a surprise. It is obvious you are stepping into a wonderful, beautiful, high class place.... the decor was elegant, the workers were smiling, the tables intimate. Our expectations soared and we were not disappointed. We were seated in one of the rooms, at a nice small table. We were the first in the room but though the room filled up later, we felt like it was only us together. Quite romantic. The server, Jeremy T (ask for him), greeted us and started to care for us throughout the night. He was the perfect blend of just enough/not too much service. We started with a large, shared Portofino Paradise which helped make us feel intimate. (Long straws, leaning forward to take sip, tasty). We shared the crab cake appetizer and then had the specials. Duck for my beautiful wife, stuffed lobster for me. Wonderful! We finished the evening with a shared salted caramel gelato. More surprises were in store: a rose for my wife and small glass of champagne. The last surprise was the bill. The bill was a surprise? Yes! We have paid 2 to 3 times more for a meal locally. Are we going back? Absolutely!

Everything was perfect our food was delicious and our server was amazing! We go there every Valentine’s day and will definitely keep our tradition going!

Last night was the best Valentine’s Day I have ever had! The ambiance at Basta was incredible. The amount of care and attention that went into the decor was second to none! The roses hanging from the ceiling was stunning! Now, let’s talk about the meal, four course prefixed menu for two people and only 150.00!! Are you kidding? The choices were fantastic and the plates came out of the kitchen looking like masterpieces . I had the pistachio encrusted cod with beet gnocchi, fantastic! My guy had flank steak over mashed with vegetables, the meat was cooked beautifully. Our wait staff Alex took great care of us! Can’t wait to go back!
