The first Oven Restaurant, located in the heart of downtown Lincoln, has been around since 1988 and owned/operated by a dedicated family of chefs who have been creating Indian cuisine for over twenty seven years.     The food was mostly good. Not much seasoning was used. Definitely get the artichoke dip and crab cakes. Steaks cooked perfectly but lacking seasoning. Fried chicken was way overcooked and could barely chew through the fried batter. But overall I’d go back for the service, it was the best I’ve had all year. Thanks Maximiliano.

    I had a fantastic date night last night at the Green Gateau. The food was fantastic and the whole experience was lovely. I highly recommend here for a romantic date night or an intimate family dinner.

    We were celebrating my husbands birthday and requested a table near the fireplace, as it is a very cozy spot. They accommodated our wish and it was the perfect spot. The hostess was very pleasant and our server Daniel was excellent. Overall a very nice evening. The dining room is rustic but yet elegant and cozy. Food is good. We are repeat customers and will continue to celebrate special occasions there and recommend to others.
