Sansei has a variety of scrumptious sushi and seafood items that are legendary. Sansei serves incredibly delectable dishes such as our famous miso butter fish, shrimp dynamite, steak, grilled pork chops, smoked duck and delicious noodles. Please come and bring the Ohana as we accommodate walk-in guests. Walk-in wait times vary due to flow of the restaurant they could be as little as 30 minutes or upward of 1.5 hours. Please be advised we have not opened sushi bar seating since closing due to Covid.     Wonderful meal for a larger group - there were 12 of us and the ‘group pre fix’ meal was a great hit with everyone. Served family style we enjoyed 4 different antipastos, 4 different salads, and 4 different pasta courses. As the staff said, no one left hungry! There was a nice variety in each course and plenty of food! We ended up 4 shared desserts. Everyone loved being able to taste so many different dishes and talk about our favorites. Very memorable and great fun for a large family meal. The location is nice - plenty of easy parking, and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming.

    Sansei doesn’t disappoint. We have been coming here since it opened back in the 1990’s. This was our first time back since 2019. There’s an outdoor patio now which is a great addition. Megan was a fabulous server. Definitely make it a choice when in Kapalua or other places in Hawaii!

    Taverna’s holiday menu was excellent! There were still so many choices and all five of us thoroughly enjoyed our 3-course meal selections. Our waiter was personable and attentive. The price point was very reasonable. Love the location. Taverna remains on our favorites list and we’ll definitely be back.
