- AAmeliaCorpus Christi / McAllen •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI went as a date night with my boyfriend and our server Nik was absolutely amazing! He explained things in detail and he was fun, he was also on top of things and didn't make us wait long at all. I ended up getting Prime Ribeye, a House Salad, and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Usually servings are for 3-4 people when it comes to the sides but you can get half servings which are for 1-2 people. My boyfriend got the Bison, Mac and Cheese, and Lobster Bisque. He had asked for a half serving of the soup and the Mac but they, unfortunately cannot be cut in half. I tried each thing so I could write a little review on it. Bison is super soft and you could just bite through it instead of cutting it into smaller pieces if you really wanted to, it was topped with garlic and butter and it all melts in your mouth. Prime Ribeye, which I got at a Medium Plus, was tender and slightly chewy. Our soup and salad were amazing, there wasn't chunks of lobster in the soup, it was smooth and creamy. Salad was absolutely amazing with fresh everything, they offered fresh cracked pepper for both. The mac was creamy, cheesy, and not super thick or thin, and the Mashed potatoes were probably my favorite! At the end of the night we got complimentary parking, a free small dessert of chocolate mousse. Overall my stay was 10/10. I would love to dine in again. Especially by the window! They have to-go boxes for whatever you end up not finishing, and if your party is small they will box it up for you. Thank you to everyone for being warm-welcoming and giving us an amazing service.More infoRepublic of Texas Bar & GrillPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Corpus Christi•4.7

- MMarianSan Antonio •1 review4.0Dined on 27 Oct 2024Whole Foods tasted good. I had the cheese omelette with fruit without strawberries a decaf Americano because they do not have decaf drift coffee with regular milk no skim milk here could not eat potatoes and salad due to medical condition so got fruit asked for bread ciabatta roll with instead of up George I was charged 450 for a roll which was a bit much but the food was very good except that there was a lot of butter in grease which had to be blocked off. That was unnecessary. There was also a lot of unnecessary grease in the cinnamon roll, which was really around cinnamon croissant With a lemon sugar glaze not icing so it tasted good but way too much grease Matcha cookie flavor in the middle was good but white chocolate chips were unnecessary and we’re just pure sugar so food is very good but they need to take about half the butter away. And maybe give a few more healthy smaller brunch options from the breakfast menu and maybe some uncured turkey or chicken, bacon and nachos pork. Also bakery cookies in the front for the French bakery would be a nice touch not just little pastries associated with a $50 a person specialty. I hear they’re moving to Alameda and Roberts, which will be lovely to a bigger place and adding three days a week dinner which looked really good online, but they don’t have right now so I’m looking forward to that. The staff was amazing and very helpful with issues and allergiesMore infoBien MeritePrice: Moderate• Contemporary French / American• Corpus Christi•4.5
