Alexander's Craft Cocktails and Kitchen was named after the distillery located on the grounds from 1861-1865, which washed away in a flood (historic marker located between the restaurant & The Manor).The newly renovated main bar is located on 1st floor, and opens onto expansive wrap-around, creekside porches. Just a few steps down from the porches is an open deck situated beneath gracious Live Oak canopies. We had a positive experience overall, the restaurant is well thought out and food was good. We had Jo’s crunchy French toast and biscuits and gravy. We made a reservation weeks before our trip. We waited 15 minutes after our reservation time while others without reservations were excited to get in with a minimal wait. This was a disappointment.

We had dinner for our 54th Anniversary! It was the greatest meal from beginning to end! The beef tenderloin was so tender we could cut it with our fork ….super delicious! We had the Autumn Bread Pudding with gelato to cap off the night!! The service and ambiance was super! We loved our experience and will definitely go back again!
