Restaurants near Devonshire Park

Dinner reservation for a birthday. Our reservation was on the earlier side, 5:30, and it was a phenomenal experience. Restaurant was busy, but tables available. A very nice atmosphere, active but comfortable, perfect for anything from casual family dinner to dress to impress date night. It was a Saturday night, but we were blown away by how fast our orders came out, and the quality was nothing less than exceptional. The service was top notch, not just from our server, but the staff as a whole seemed to stay aware and responsive of all the customers. Can’t wait to return!

This was our first visit and we really loved it. The ambience was really nice with background music playing that kept the atmosphere lively without being too loud.  it’s very comfortable place with an authentic feel of the ethnicities represented in the food. There is a wide range dishes of eastern European and Central Asian influences.  you can find both dishes that will be very filling and also ones that are on the lighter side. I had a lamb dish over aromatic rice that was excellent. My wife had one that was beef, and another friend had a beef stroganoff dish. Mine came with a little bowl of spicy hot sauce that mixed in perfectly and made the dish very exciting. The dishes are so good that I could easily eat often. It was a treat, and I wish we knew how to prepare food like this at home. My wife loved it too, and we are looking forward to coming back.  do yourself a favor and eat here. 

Overall was good but squashed into a corner on top of another table -not good

As part of my team Christmas outing we went to dinner at DiPescara. After going to the Chicago Botanical Gardens light show it was the perfect place—friendly and attentive staff, good selection of beverages, specials, appetizers, salads, entrees and wine. Everyone loved their meal and the prices were very reasonable.

Always a pleasure and a treat to dine at Bluegrass. The hosts are so gracious, the food is always delicious, and the service is excellent. Our favorite dishes are the orange chicken and the smoked chicken which is a Tuesday night special. The latter is served with the most scrumptious corn pudding. Our friend had the tilapia which she really enjoyed. You can't go wrong with any menu choice there.
