Paisans is an Italian word for friends, but to us, it also means family. Family has always been at the center of Paisans’ beginning and the driving force behind its success. Paisans Pizza was started by Luigi, an immigrant to the United States, in 1985. In a small corner store in Cicero, Illinois, Luigi started making pizzas out of a household kitchen oven. Shortly after, Luigi was joined by his son Pete, fulfilling orders one at a time using hand-written tickets hanging from clothespins in their tiny kitchen.Pete spent the next 30 years expanding the business, while also refining the Paisans brand and menu.     Brought my wife for her 60th birthday. Great food, service and an amazing family atmosphere. Would recommend to everyone who enjoys steaks and chops. I personally loved the boned in pork chops. My wife had the filet that was so tender she cut it with her fork. At the end of the meal we had the carrot cake and birthday cake. Was delicious. Want to thank the owners and staff for a wonderful birthday dinner!! Chris&Lisa

    We enjoyed our meals after Sunday service! We had chicken and waffles, firecracker shrimp with a side of fries, spicy cauliflower, Shrimp and grits, french toast and steak and eggs with cheesy grits. Oh and the drinks were tasty too, my husband had the barrel old fashioned and I had the tequila mocking bird. Simone was our waitress and she made my daughter’s day!! We will be back!

    Good food and good service. We were grateful to find a restaurant open on Christmas Day. Christmas Day was Wednesday and their Wednesday specials were $9.99 drinks and $12.99 pasta. I had the baked ziti off the $12.99 pasta menu. My husband had chicken Vesuvio. The food had really good flavor. We were also offered a salad with our meal for an extra dollar. The quality of salad was very good. I had the balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I ate every drop of the salad. As an appetizer, we had calamari. Again very good we will definitely come back.
