Restaurants near Eastern Point

This was an easy decision where to celebrate my wife’s ‘big’ birthday, at one of her top three favorite restaurants in Maine. And they never blinked, even after I had to tweak our reservations twice! We ended up with five for dinner and Jenn made this huge table in a corner work. We enjoyed their steak, roast chicken, ribs, my scallops and mussels in grits, and the special char for my wife. Everybody was very happy, well fed, and enjoyed the evening. This is a great restaurant and I’m already planning when we can get back, just the two of us. Thank you, Franny’s.

Lovely, quaint dinning with great food and great service. I love how small the dinning area was; that kept the noise level to a minimum—old world style dinning.

Excellent service and delicious offerings wonderful desserts

It took a month to get in and it was worth it. I had frequented the pond house when I was young (35 yrs ago) and I had been wanting to get back. It was as good as I remember. Staff got us in earlier than our reservation time, waitstaff were friendly and welcoming and the popovers and jam are the best I’ve had! Definitely worth the visit/experience.
