- HHeathervipNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMax is one the few restaurants you can really rely on to be a great meal with great service - one of our faves. Tonight was my husbands bday and they welcomed him with a bday card, served two chocolate truffles with two glasses of Prosecco and a candle, just perfect! What a special meal.More infoMax Oyster Bar - West Hartford CenterPrice: Very Expensive• American• West Hartford•4.7
- JjenniferNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThere for my son's birthday. They seated us right away. The table immediately next to us was a 25+ yr old couple. In twenty seconds i had seen and heard enough. The girl talking loudly with her mouth full of food..said "legit" 3 times in the same sentence and hit her hand on the table top laughing. I kindly asked the host to move us to a different table. They accommodated without hesitation. Ordinarily I dont care, eat and be merry but not for the money i was paying nope. The service, food, server, buss staff, all impeccable Class operationMore infoFleming's Steakhouse - West HartfordPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Hartford•4.7

We shared the Pea Fritters which were amazing, a very unique app with a lovely sweet sauce reminiscent of Tamarind. She had the risotto, which she really enjoyed, and I had the steak, which was very good, and a reasonable portion (no one needs to eat a pound of meat). It was served with delicious roasted carrots and mashed potatoes, also very good. We finished up with coffee/tea, and shared the yummy chocolate tart. The restaurant has a great urban vibe and is very loud. Great service and very attentive staff and management. You definitely will not regret eating here!More infoUnion KitchenPrice: Expensive• American• Hartford•4.6

- TTamaraNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on 13 Nov 2024Artisan is a favorite for delicious and fresh vegetable-rich meals. We love the Chef's monthly themed dinners and the way the kitchen aims to accommodate dietary preferences. I ordered the catch of the day over the brussels/pistachio/pesto preparation and it was perfect. There is a trend to fry the brussels until they are unrecognizable and cover them in sauce, but Artisan maintains a delicate flavored vegetable that compliments the dish. The autumn salad with blueberries, pomegranate seeds and almonds was excellent also. The main dining room is a cheerful relaxing space and the staff is welcoming and helpful.More infoArtisan - West HartfordPrice: Expensive• American• Hartford•4.8
