We opened our first restaurant in Castlefield, Manchester in 2004 with a clear aim: To deliver quality food to local customers at a reasonable price in a sharp, modern space with friendly, unpretentious service. We have pursued that goal ever since and it has earned us many loyal customers. Our menu is probably classed as British with some additional favourites from Italy and around the globe. Albert's Worsley provides a slick, modern space with dining for 180 guests inside and features a fabulous outside dining terrace for 60.The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturday and Sunday are also open for breakfast.

First time at the Cartford for lunch. Were shown to our table swiftly and drinks order taken. The server gave us plenty of time to order our starters and was very accommodating when we went for several to share. We all had the Roast which was superb, beautifully cooked pink beef, crispy crackling on the pork, fluffy roasties and huge Yorkshires, tbh it’s the best roast dinner I’ve ever had when eating out. All too full for puddings so just opted for coffee. The Poulton Brass Band came in whilst we were dining playing Xmas carols which was quite lovely. We will definitely be back for another Sunday roast. Good good from us from start to finish.

A Sunday Delight at The Rum Fox Our recent Sunday lunch at The Rum Fox was an absolute treat! The Roast Turkey was succulent and juicy, perfectly complemented by crispy roast potatoes, sausage stuffing, and pigs in blankets. The creamed sprouts were a delightful surprise. The rich turkey gravy and tangy cranberry sauce added the perfect finishing touches. To top it all off, the Millionaire shortbread was a decadent dessert. Although, I wish I had ordered the Lemon Meringue Pie, it was so refreshing and light. Maybe next time! The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff. The cozy, festive atmosphere of the venue made it the perfect setting for a leisurely Sunday meal. Highly recommended!

This was a first visit for myself and friend. It was a belated birthday lunch for my friend. Lovely atmosphere and friendly welcome. We chose the festive menu. It was very varied in choice, and we had different choices. From starters through to dessert, every mouthful was delicious . Very relaxed and a lovely experience .

Great food and service. Good value for money, party allowed to choose off both the festive and set menus with no complaints from staff. Couldn't have asked for staff to be more accommodating. Would definitely recommend. X
